Bobby Schindler, Terri Schiavo’s brother, has created the “Terri Schiavo Scholarship” with the Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia. The Terri Schiavo Scholarship will not only honor Terri’s witness, but also supports young people from the disability community across the Greater Philadelphia region where Terri grew up.
At this time, the scholarship is still in its fundraising period and requires additional gifts to reach its endowment goal. Consider making a gift today to the Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia and be sure to designate the “Terri Schiavo Scholarship” as your desired area for your gift.
Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia
Following the charitable example of Jesus Christ, The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia (CFGP) exists to serve the mission of the Catholic Church for the betterment of the lives of the people in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Specifically, it provides donors an avenue to fulfill their charitable goals through the support of projects, programs, organizations and initiatives of a Catholic nature that respond to their need to love and support others. We provide parishes, ministries, and Catholic organizations the tools and the structure to develop additional resources and support.
Grounded in best practices, and committed to the principles of transparency, accountability, operational effectiveness and clarity of purpose, The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia stewards and manages gifts from donors to ensure they are used for their intended purpose.
